Duties:

What are the minimum requirements?

  • Minimum of 3 years customer service and accounts receivable experience, with a primary focus on customer service & order entry;
  • Must have excellent phone manner and enjoy working with customers
  • Experience working with confidential company information;
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Google Email;
  • Good understanding of multiple Payment Terms and Dating;
  • Good understanding of inventory related systems; and
  • Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.

What will my job responsibilities be?

  • Process customer orders received via email, phone, online and fax;
  • Answer customer inquiries including tracking customer orders and arranging empty pick-ups; following up to ensure empties are retrieved in a timely fashion
  • Track order stats daily and record in spreadsheet
  • Source and price items and prepare quotes for sales department
  • Set up of new and maintenance of existing client profiles on system
  • Set up customers online accounts;
  • Send emails introducing customers to our E-Store;
  • Send new customer welcome letters (monthly);
  • Ensure that all order pick-ups by customer from Carlyle are cleared on a weekly basis;
  • Check backorders daily and inform customers of ETAs;
  • Act as back up to A/R; daily deposit, account management & collections
  • Attend and participate in Operation Team meetings weekly; and
  • Other duties as required from time to time.
